
The second victim in a week - Shot dead, 14-year-old girl in a Metropolitan Police Raid

- 14-year-old Betty Josefina Herrera was shot in the back, in Pinto Salinas on Saturday night, when the Metropolitan Police were carrying out a raid on the sector.
- According to information provided by neighbors and reporters, after nine o'clock at night a PM commission entered the neighborhood on foot and its agents began shooting for no reason.
- The mother of the murdered girl, Juana Inocencia Herrera, in the midst of her pain, stated that no one was assaulting or shooting at these metropolitan agents.
- The uniformed members of the PM began shooting, when their daughter Betty left in the company of her friend Aracelis Josefina Flores Silvera, in the direction of the house of some neighbors a few meters away from hers.
- The girl Aracelis Josefina was also shot by the PM and was taken seriously injured to the Vargas Hospital.
- This occurred when police officers constantly entered neighborhoods searching, trampling and violating the most basic human rights in the time of Luis Herrera Campins.
