This Thursday, the second batch of humanitarian aid supplies sent by the Chinese Government arrived at Yangon International Airport in Myanmar.

This shipment includes 800 tents, 2,000 blankets, 3,000 boxes of cookies, 2,000 boxes of mineral water and other essential items, transported on a charter flight from China.

Li Ming, spokesman for the International Development Cooperation Agency, assured that China will continue to provide assistance based on the requirements of the People of Myanmar and support their efforts to overcome the critical situation, quotes Xinhua news agency.

The number of fatalities from the 7.7 magnitude earthquake increased to more than 3 thousand, 4 thousand 75 injured and 341 people missing. It is estimated that more than 3 million affected have been evacuated from their homes
