• The first broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program opened fire with Nicolás Maduro Moros, Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as the opening guest. Who pointed out that “there will be an iron fist against the conspirators and fascists... Of course, without falling into provocations, working every day, that they do not take us away from the center we have, which is to govern, the pacification plan against economic war”.
• He added that there are groups of 40 or 50 people who are protesting calling for his departure from the presidency “it is the reissue of the madness of 2002, 2003 and 2004.”
• Diosdado Cabello Rondón , as president of the National Assembly, fired his first communicational artillery fire, stating that “this program is a tribute to Commander Hugo Chávez, to the Fatherland; it is a tribute and recognition to the work that President Chávez did for years with the People of Venezuela, to accompany them, teach them, lead them and to be the voice of the People when absolutely no one wanted to listen to the People. Chávez became his voice, his image and his defender.”
• That same day, the host of the program pledged to meet the expectations of the Venezuelan people so that Con El Mazo Dando would be a production for the trench of struggle, battle and consolidation of 21st century Socialism... He assured that his program will be strongly criticized by representatives of the Venezuelan opposition. “I would be very concerned if that were not the case,” he warned.
