The People's Guard: Humanist, Socialist and Revolutionary Work (+anniversary)

On November 17, 2011, Commander Hugo Chávez activated the People's Guard with the swearing in of officials from Plaza Diego Ibarra in Caracas.
Chávez stressed that the People's Guard was created for the benefit of comprehensive security, to reinforce the fight against crime and crime and guarantee social welfare.
“This is Simon Bolivar's Armed Forces; liberating and liberated. Freed from the yoke of the oligarchy and liberator of a people and a homeland... Here are the Soldiers of the People of the Socialist Revolution to fight for a people and against threats, to contribute daily,” he said.
“We must work on prevention, on the creation of a new culture, on the culture of peace, it is socialist culture. Your task is more preventive than reactive... a socialist, revolutionary humanist task... we are not going to disappoint the people in contributing to these problems,” he concluded.
