The number of Palestinian fatalities as a result of military actions in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 exceeds the 50,000 mark, the Health Ministry of the Palestinian enclave reported.

“The number of victims of the Israeli aggression since October 2023 has increased to 50,021, and another 113,274 people were injured,” the health department said in a report published on its Telegram channel.

He also added that 41 people lost their lives and 61 were injured in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours.

On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a military operation in the enclave with the objective of destroying the military and political structure of HAMAS and freeing all those kidnapped.

On March 18, the Israeli Army resumed hostilities in the Gaza Strip, launching massive attacks against the enclave, breaking the ceasefire established in January of this year.
