The mayor of the Libertardor municipality, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted the work of the National Government to bring migrants who are being persecuted in the United States to Venezuelan soil.
In that regard, he reiterated the commitment of the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, to bring them all back through the Plan Back to the Fatherland.
“President Nicolás Maduro received the families (of the migrants) at the Miraflores Palace and promised them that he will not rest until all our compatriots arrive from outside, so here we are with the strength and hope of this Government that supports all Venezuelans.”
Meléndez called on all Venezuelans to march together and to “collect signatures in every corner of our country in solidarity support for migrants' families.”
For his part, the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, highlighted the solidarity of the People who have joined the days of collecting signatures and marches demanding that the human rights of Venezuelan migrants be respected, as well as the release of those who are kidnapped in El Salvador.
In addition, he assured that none of the compatriots who have returned to the country belong to the Aragua Train, since this is a narrative imposed by the international and national right.
