The Food Staff benefits grandmothers and grandparents of the Aragüeño Homeland

As part of the Great Mission Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland, during the month of June, more than 12,000 older adults were treated in the state of Aragua, during various days of social care that began the delivery of CLAP special food packages.

The special CLAP combo for older adults focuses on the first corner of this new generation Great Mission, which encompasses everything related to the areas of health and nutrition.

In a press release, the Territorial Director of the Ministry of Popular Power for Food (MINPPAL), José Diego Castillo, stressed that this action is articulated through all the entities that make up the state of nutrition in the entity, together with the team of the National Institute of Social Services (INASS) and the circles of grandparents and grandmothers.

“We reiterate once again our commitment to our grandparents and grandmothers, an action that undoubtedly fills us with satisfaction, stressing that the order is to improve and give continuity to food distribution days, in the 50 parishes of the 18 municipalities that make up the state of Aragua,” said Castillo.

He mentioned that the total number of people served was 12,996, in compliance with the guidelines led by President Nicolás Maduro, to grant this benefit to older adults under the principles of equality, justice, solidarity, love and protection, within the framework of the Great Mission of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland.

Finally, he emphasized that they will continue to work together with the different levels of regional and local governments, with the INASS and the Grandparents' Circles, who have an outstanding participation and organization that will make it possible to expand this benefit, reaching the vulnerable population of the different communities.
