The film “First Ali” by Daniel Yegres
is now available starting this Thursday, October 31, in more than 50 movie
theaters across the country, to dazzle the public with its photography,
performances and successful direction.
According to information from Alba Ciudad, the 120-minute
feature film, which premiered this Wednesday, offers a narrative
that at times describes duly documented historical events, and in
moments provides brushstrokes of the lyricism that is possible through fiction,
with the common thread of an Ali at various stages of his life carrying the burden
of being a man, revolutionary militant, father, husband and friend in a social context transgressed by political violence during the
Fourth Republic.
In the presence of the Minister of Culture,
Ernesto Villegas and the President of the National Autonomous
Cinematography Center (CNAC), Carlos Azpúrua, among other personalities, as well as a
large part of his creative team, Yegres thanked the support of more than 800
actors, actresses and technical staff who, after more than a month of shooting in 40 locations, resulted in this work.
Minister Villegas praised the film and described it as a work of art. In addition, he applauded the enormous effort behind his production.
