More than 1,200 surgeries were performed in the state of Aragua, through the 1x10 of Good Governance and the National Surgical Plan, so far this month. The actions include sterilization surgery, hysterectomy, removal of inguinal and umbilical hernias, lipomas, ophthalmology, ventrations and other surgical procedures.

The governor of the entity, Karina Carpio, highlighted the free, timely, efficient and quality care provided to Aragüeño patients, thanks to the investment made during her administration to strengthen the health system, with renovated operating rooms equipped with the latest technology.

“These are high-cost interventions, but here we have highly trained medical personnel and some operating rooms recently delivered by our president Nicolás Maduro, equipped with high-tech equipment, and that has precisely been the result for us to have such effective and efficient surgical interventions,” she said, quoted in a regional press release.
