The Bolivarian Government oversees rehabilitation work at the Los Morochos Tank in Carúpano

The Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, carried out an inspection and supervision visit to the work being carried out in the Los Morochos Tank, in the state of Sucre.

This tank will supply 60 million liters of vital liquid to more than 200,000 people on the Paria axis in this entity.

“We are together with the team of the Ministry of People's Power for Water Care, supervising the progress of this work, carried out by workers from this town to guarantee this service,” said Ceballos Ichaso.

He also indicated that to date, 69% of progress has been registered in a first tank, in which surface preparation tasks are carried out with hydroblasting, cleaning of corrosion of external steel, application of external corrective and waterproof structural mortar.

Meanwhile, in the external areas, the installation of a lighting and forced ventilation system was carried out, as well as the application of anti-corrosion materials.

Ceballos stressed that these works are progressing satisfactorily “thanks to the work that more than 200 people are constantly doing in the recovery of this important work”.
