The Bolivarian Government is making progress in the rehabilitation of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital (+Monagas)

The Bolivarian Government of Monagas state is making progress in the reconstruction of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital, located in the Aguasay municipality, in order to put this health house into operation for the benefit of more than 16,000 people in the area.

After the approval of resources by President Nicolás Maduro, on March 11, more than 40 construction workers and specialists carry out work in the areas of masonry, plumbing, waterproofing, blacksmithing, electrification, lighting, gardening, air conditioning, cleaning and maintenance.

According to information issued by the government, the regional president, Ernesto Luna, said that “this is a work that we hope to complete at the end of June and with which we have set out the best of objectives, such as saving lives, improving the physical conditions of patients, as well as avoiding any movement of them to other, more distant health centers.”

The works carried out in the hospital include: finishing, construction and wall cladding, while plumbing was carried out the installation of the wastewater, rain and drinking water network, with 6 and 8 inch pipes.
