The Bolivarian Government is making progress in the reconstruction of the drainage system on Cuatricentenaria Avenue, in Trujillo, with the purpose of correcting the edge fault caused by leaks and rainfall recorded in the Andean entity.

The work is carried out through coordinated work between the Ministry of the People's Power of Public Works, the Government of Trujillo and the City Hall, whose engineering tasks include the replacement of corrugated steel sheets, the installation of bolts and the assembly of transverse and longitudinal reinforcements designed to guarantee the stability and useful life of the underground structure.

The project also includes a comprehensive road conditioning plan and once the structural intervention is completed, the crews will begin the recovery of the road, the weeding and painting of brooches, as well as the modernization of the public lighting system along the entire stretch.

Residents and drivers of the sector appreciated the progress of the work. “This is the main road in the municipality and its repair was urgent for the peace of mind of all of us who travel here every day. This was the feeling of the community,” said María Gutiérrez, a resident of the area.

With this intervention, the authorities seek to restore full passability and reinforce road safety in this important corridor in the state.
