The Bolivarian Government has performed more than 1 thousand 48 surgeries in Sucre

A total of 1 thousand 48 low and medium
complexity surgeries
have been performed in the state
of Sucre , through the public health network, according to information published on the web portal of a
well-known national newspaper.
According to the information, the
governor of the entity, Gilberto Pinto, stressed that the number of surgical
procedures achieved during the last two weeks of January is due to the efficiency and effectiveness
of the medical teams of the
Regional Foundation for Health (FUNDASALUD) and the Barrio Adentro network.
In this regard, he indicated that
this year's goal is to carry out 500 weekly operations, exceeding the number in
2023 by 100; at the same time, he congratulated “the entire health team from all
outpatient clinics to FUNDASALUD, to the Barrio Adentro network
for all the work they have been doing to guarantee the right to
health and life of our people,” said the governor.
Pinto reiterated his commitment to strengthening the public health system, “in order to guarantee tranquility and social security to the population
of Sucre.”
