The Bolivarian Government began work in the municipality of Santa Bárbara, Monagas state, to adapt, prepare, collect and clean debris in the town's main cemetery, with the purpose of adapting these spaces to celebrate this November 2, the Day of the Faithful Dead.
Mayor Roselis León, through the Directorate of Human Cities, Special Projects and Electricity, stressed that these tasks are carried out to leave a good impression on family members who visit the cemetery in view of these intimate and religious days typical of Venezuelan culture.
“It really is a one hundred percent change that we can see in the Santa Bárbara cemetery, where we are doing very important tasks, realizing the motto of our governor, Ernesto Luna, and Mayor Roselis León, to turn the municipality into what we deserve,” said Beltrán Pérez, responsible for the city's sanitation work.
He also assured that, in addition to the removal of the vegetation layer, 20 LED-type luminaires, control box, debris collection and road adaptation were installed; in addition, works were carried out to beautify the infrastructure of the municipal cemetery.
In this sense, the necropolis is in optimal conditions to receive the families of the faithful deceased, as part of the traditions of the people of Santa Barbara. To this end, support was requested from the State security forces, with the purpose of protecting the internal areas and the outskirts of the cemetery, which guarantees the protection of those who are preparing to visit these areas during the first week of the month of November.
