The 20th edition of FILVEN arrives in Amazonas from November 28 to 30

The
20th International Book Fair of Venezuela (FILVEN) will open its doors
from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 November under the slogan Leer
Transforms the Amazonas Cultural Complex, located in Puerto
Ayacucho, Atures municipality.
According to information from the Ministry
for Culture, at this meeting there will be literary activities at the Simón Rodríguez Public
Library, where the children's pavilion will be located, and in the Yellow
House, which will be the central room where writing workshops will be held.
It will also offer literary and
cultural programming consisting of book presentations, talks, workshops and
activities for girls and boys.
Among the publishers will be participating
with their news The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and the Ayacucho Library,
attached to the Ministry for Culture.
In addition, this time the writer José Rosario Escobar (San Carlos de Rio Negro, 1953) will be
honored,
who from an early age has had a special interest in poetry and has been
inspired by the Venezuelan Amazon.
The literary festival will also feature the national guest Ramon Ojeda, a poet and chronicler born in Elorza, Rómulo Gallegos de Apure municipality (1961).
