The young and renowned singer of llanera music, Emily Galaviz, was the victim of a smear campaign through social networks for following the accounts of the Con El Mazo Dando program conducted by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

The campaign promoted by sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right flooded social networks with messages full of hate, accusing her of being a “traitor” and questioning her political positions.

Likewise, like the Venezuelan athlete and queen of the Triple Jump, Yulimar Rojas, on other occasions, these recalcitrant sectors question the Creole interpreter's gratitude to President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Revolution.

These actions are just an example of the intolerance of the extreme right and how they use social networks in the country to attack and harass public figures who do not share their political views.

Emily Galaviz achieved notoriety in the musical world thanks to her interpretation of the song Guayabo Zarandeao, which went viral on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Since then, she has been praised for her talent and charisma, becoming one of the promises of the genre, reports Venezuela News.
