Specialized technical teams deployed an exhaustive inspection of the infrastructure of the Boquerón I tunnel, with the purpose of verifying operating conditions and ensuring the correct movement of drivers traveling on the Caracas-La Guaira Highway,” the authorities reported through their official channels.
“With the firm purpose of ensuring road safety for drivers of the Caracas-La Guaira Highway, our specialized technical teams carried out an exhaustive inspection of the Boquerón I tunnel,” the institutional source announced in a public report.
According to the information shared by the competent bodies, the work included a detailed review of the upper slabs, as well as of the extraction systems installed in the road structure, key components for the protection of users.
The authorities emphasized that these preventive and technical maintenance actions make it possible to preserve the stability of the work, thus maintaining continuous passability between the capital city and the Central Coast.
