Teatro de la Opera de Maracay will stage a night of salsa in homage to Rubén Blades

This Saturday, October 24, the Teatro de la Ópera de Maracay (TOM) will be the stage for members of The Big Band Theory's instrumental machinery to offer a tribute to the salsa poet, Rubén Blades.

During the event, more than 23 musicians on stage will offer a show designed to achieve the perfect balance between the strength of the Caribbean and the harmonic elegance of brass with the prodigious voice of the outstanding Venezuelan sonero Marcial Istúriz, guaranteeing a show for salsa lovers.

Throughout more than five decades of experience, the Panamanian singer-songwriter has portrayed part of the reality, culture and idiosyncrasy of Latin America through indelible characters and stories.
