As part of the commemoration of the International Day for the Fight against Breast Cancer, the spaces of the Maracay Opera Theater (TOM) served as the stage for a special day of awareness and health that combined rhythm, physical activity and preventive message through a large free dance session.
The activity was led by the president of the Maracay Opera Theater, Sendy Romero, who highlighted the importance of using the entity's cultural spaces not only for art and entertainment, but also as active platforms for comprehensive well-being, health and prevention in the community.
During the meeting, attendees enjoyed a dynamic dance session aimed at leisure and healthy living, while key guidance was shared on the importance of self-examination, timely medical check-ups and the early detection of this disease.
“From the Maracay Opera House, we are committed to these causes that save lives. Art and culture are also ways to educate, bring hope and remind our women and families of the importance of taking care of themselves and preventing,” Romero said.
The day concluded with a message of solidarity with all the survivors and warriors who fight against breast cancer, reaffirming the commitment of the cultural institutions of Aragua to continue promoting activities that promote the quality of life and the health of citizens.
