TÁCHIRA/Cabello exalted the courage and loyalty of the people of Tachirense 5 years after the Battle of the Bridges

From the state of Táchira, on the border with Colombia, the
first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello, deployed with the people of the entity to remember the
defense of the Homeland five years ago in the Battle of the Bridges, when
imperialism, its allies and the national right tried to disturb the country's peace.
In his speech at the commemorative event, Cabello recalled
the late revolutionary leader Darío Vivas, who was in the vanguard that February 23.
“This stone bears witness to the story of five years ago,
it belonged to Darío, I had it on his desk, when Darío left they
sent it to me and I keep it as one of the most valuable things,” he recalled.
“This stone represents the people of Venezuela, it represents
Táchira, it represents Venezuela in its fight against imperialism,” added Cabello
about one of the symbols of the Battle of the Bridges.
The senior leader of the red awning stressed that “today this town of the state of Táchira is
here, surely more restricted by the Bolivarian
Revolution, every day more determined to be free, and we tell the
world from here that they will not pass through Táchira”.
