SUDEBAN published the Banking Calendar for the year 2024

The calendar specifies the national and bank holidays for the current year

The Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN) announced to the general public the 2024 Banking Calendar, which will govern the activities of the national banking system.

Through its account on the social network X, SUDEBAN published the aforementioned calendar, in which it specifies the national and bank holidays of the current year, in the country, as established in the Law of Partial Reform of the Law on Institutions of the Banking Sector.

The holidays are: January 1, New Year; Saturday, January 6, Three Kings Day (it is not executed because it is a weekend); January 14, Divine Shepherdess Day; February 12 and 13, Carnival; March 19, San José; March 28 and 29, Holy Week; April 19; Precursor Movement of Independence; May 1, Worker's Day; May 9, Ascension of the Lord (runs on Monday, May 13); May 30 Corpus Christi (runs on Monday, June 3); June 13, Saint Anthony's Day (runs on Monday, June 17); June 24, Battle of Carabobo.

It also marks June 29, the Day of Saints Peter and Paul; July 5, Independence Day; July 24, the Birth of the Liberator; August 15, Assumption of Our Lady (held on Monday, August 19); September 11, Day of the Virgin of Coromoto, Patron Saint of Venezuela (held on Monday, September 16); October 12, Day of Indigenous Resistance.

Also October 26, Doctor José Gregorio Hernández Day; November 1, All Saints' Day (Monday, November 4); November 18, Day of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá; December 8, Immaculate Conception Day, December 24, a national holiday; December 25, Nativity of Our Lord; December 31, a national holiday.

During these days, the banking system will provide electronic, mobile and telephone banking services.
