This Wednesday, May 01, the banking sector will not be operational in the national territory, on the occasion of being a national holiday, as established in its calendar by the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN).

In this regard, public and private banking will only be available in shopping malls until 2:00 p.m.

On May 1st, Venezuela celebrates Labor Day, a date decreed in 1945, to vindicate the fight for the labor rights of the Venezuelan people, especially in the reduction of the working day to eight hours a day for a total of 40 hours a week.

SUDEBAN reminds users of the country's different banking institutions that electronic channels remain fully operational to carry out their operations.

In addition, cash machines, virtual banking and telephone lines are still active.
