Sucre students are crowned champions at the 2026 Venezuelan Nanotechnology Olympics

The youth delegation of the state of Sucre achieved the highest honors at the Venezuelan Nanotechnology Olympics 2026, an academic event that brought together more than 3,900 students from all over the country within the framework of the National Scientific Semilleros Program, said Venezolana de Televisión (VTV)

During the competition, representatives of the state of Sucre excelled in theoretical tests and in the presentation of research projects aimed at developing technological solutions, managing to overcome the different regional and national phases of scientific justice.

The initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT) through FUNDACITE, seeks to empower the talent of Venezuelan youth and promote scientific training in cutting-edge areas such as nanoscience.

With this result, the state of Sucre consolidates the performance of its students in the national scientific field, reaffirming the commitment of the education system to the training of the country's new generations of researchers and innovators.
