Strength brothers! President Maduro mourns physical loss of his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi

Through the social network X, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, lamented the sensitive physical loss of his counterpart from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, after the forced landing of the helicopter where he was traveling due to the dense fog.

“I am appalled by the harsh news about the sensitive physical loss of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi. Cilia, who is a friend of his wife, and I are in great pain for having to dismiss an exemplary person, an extraordinary leader of the world as he is and will always be our brother Ebrahim, an excellent human being, defender of the sovereignty of his people and an unconditional friend of our country”, wrote the Head of State on the social network.

He also reaffirmed that from the land of Bolívar and Chávez “we express our deep sorrow to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and we wish for divine comfort for such sensitive losses”.

He stressed that the people of Venezuela accompany the sentiment that overwhelms family members and all the people of Iran. “A heartfelt embrace from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. You, Iran, are an example of dignity, morality and resistance. Strength brothers and sisters!” , he said.
