More than 150 troupes, floats, fantasy makers and artisans flooded the streets of Sucre state with creativity, magic and color during carnivals 2025.
In this regard, the governor of the eastern entity, Gilberto Pinto, indicated that in the show at the Juncal de Carúpano Carnival, which reached 60 years of history and tradition, people enjoyed a magnificent exhibition of old cars alluding to the decades of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, a note from Última Noticias.
The show bands also put locals and tourists to dance with the presentation of tropical and Caribbean rhythms in these parades that filled those who gathered to enjoy the Carúpano Tourist and International Carnivals with fun.
“This event is a manifestation of art. The creativity that is present in each of the demonstrations by these fantasy makers gives an identity to what the Carúpano International Tourist Carnivals mean. We have been celebrating this tradition for 60 years,” said the regional president.
Similarly, in the city of Cumaná, hundreds of people enjoyed an emblematic parade that began on Arismendi Avenue, ran along Gómez Rubio Avenue and ended on Sucre Street in the Historic Center of the capital of Sucrense.
