The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), GJ Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that the Colombian department of Guainía is used as logistical support for illegal mining in the state of Amazonas.

Through a message published in his X account, he explained that the FANB, in fulfilling its constitutional duty to protect our territory, has destroyed numerous clandestine deposits of inputs destined for illegal mining.
