Despite the fact that the media insists on describing the Venezuelan system of government as a “dictatorship”, 72% of the electoral processes have taken place in the last 24 years, the date that corresponds to the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution.

According to information provided by the Venezuelan Anti-Blockade Observatory, with data from the National Electoral Council (CNE), 48 elections were held between 1998 and 2024, including local and national referendums, presidential, governor and mayoral elections, National Assembly, legislative elections, and communal councils.

Statistically, between 1958 and 1998, the country held an election every three years. Whereas during the Bolivarian Revolution the average was 1.4 per year.

It is important to note that the electoral processes of the Bolivarian nation have always been in the eye of the hurricane, since foreign interference ( especially from extreme right-wing countries) is the order of the day, and they use, to question the results, the great media machinery.

However, the electoral system has proven to have state-of-the-art technology, in addition to being 100% auditable; and although the strategy of the right has always been to announce fraud, they have never been able to demonstrate such an assertion.

The electoral processes in Venezuela have always been carried out in peace and have had the participation of the people, whose religion is to go to the polls every time the CNE calls for a democratic party. In addition, each election has been held in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic; even under the panorama of blockade and imperial threats .
