Starting December 1st! Minimum urban passage will be 16 bolivars

As of this first of December, the minimum fare for urban travel will be 16 bolivars, while the maximum will be Bs 18, as established in the Official Gazette, number 43,013, dated November 22.
The document, released this Wednesday and released by the newspaper Última Noticias, indicates that in the case of public transport operators in the State, the ticket price will be 10 bolivars.
In addition, the gazette states that women over 55 and men over the age of 60 will not pay a ticket. In this regard, the text points out that the National Executive and the providers of the public land transport service should facilitate care for this group of passengers.
It also stipulates that the Ministry of Transport, in coordination with states and municipalities, must exempt people with disabilities on urban roads. “Likewise, the service will be provided without charging a fee for carrying wheelchairs, walkers or other technical aids,” he says.
In the case of students, drivers must charge them only 50% of the ticket amount.
With respect to suburban routes, fares range from Bs 16 to 43, depending on the distance traveled.
In the Official Gazette, number 43,013, they urge carriers to fully comply with what is stipulated there; otherwise, they will be subject to the application of measures such as the suspension of a driver's license.
