Sports authorities fine-tune details for the start of the IV National Community Sports Games

This Monday, October 19, sports and state authorities held a working meeting with the commissions to review the preparations and ensure that every detail is ready for the development of the IV National Community Sports Games in Lara state.

From October 23 to November 7, the entity will receive 1,025 athletes from the disciplines of swimming, skating, skateboarding, baseball 5 and 3×3 basketball, thus emerging as one of the fundamental scenarios of this competition that promotes sports development from communities, local media said in a press release.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, indicated that “the state of Lara is the host of these Games and has all the conditions, it has infrastructure, experience, knowledge and the main thing, which are the athletes. It even has the largest number of qualified athletes for both the Communals and the Youth, so we must continue to strengthen the sport in this state.”
