Special Court of First Instance issues arrest warrant against Edmundo González Urrutia

This Monday, at the request of the Public Ministry, (MP), the national justice system issued the arrest warrant against the former candidate of opposition extremism, Edmundo González Urrutia.

The arrest warrant was issued by the First Special Court of First Instance in Supervisory Functions with Competence in Cases Related to Crimes of Association to Terrorism with National Jurisdiction and Competence to Know and Decide Crimes Associated with Corruption and Organized Crime.

This decision is based on accusations of usurpation of functions, forging of public documents, incitement to disobedience of laws, sabotage with damage to the systems and association to commit crimes, made by the prosecution at the time of making the request for apprehension against González Urrutia.
