Spain: Secretary General of Ahora Podemos questions asylum for dangerous ultra-rightist Edmundo González

The Secretary General of Ahora Podemos, Ione Belarra, denounced the hypocrisy of the Spanish government, which sent a plane to Venezuela to search for the dangerous extreme right, Edmundo González Urrutia.

Belarra denounced the situation of the Saharawi activists who are being held at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport who are now unprotected, after fleeing for their lives from Morocco.

Belarra , who was denied entry last Monday to the inadmissible room of Terminal 1 of the airport where these asylum seeking activists are located, criticized that the Government does “send an Armed Forces plane” to “pick up a dangerous extreme right”, referring to González Urrutia.

“Saharawi activists whose lives are in danger in Morocco, no one denounces the vulnerabilities of human rights and that has a name: Hypocrisy!” , he said.
