This Monday, the President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, announced that after five days of reflection in which he considered submitting his resignation, he decided to continue “with more strength if possible at the head of the Presidency”.

“This decision is not a point and then, it is a point and a separate one,” he said after assuring that his family has been suffering 10 years of harassment and of assuring that “there are times when the only way forward is to stop and reflect.”

Sánchez pointed out that social mobilization “has had a positive influence” on his decision and thanked him for the expressions of support, mainly for his political formation, the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (USSR).

During the morning, he communicated his decision to King M and had subsequently met with the first vice-president, María Jesús Montero, the Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, and the Secretary of Organization of the USSR, Santos Cerdán, and had summoned all the staff of Moncloa after his appearance, Rusia Today (RT) explained.
