This Thursday, the South African ambassador in The Hague, Vusimuzi Madonsela, denounced the continuing Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip, after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) imposed interim measures on the Zionist State to prevent war crimes.

South Africa clarified with arguments the worsening of the humanitarian situation in Gaza; in this regard, the diplomat asked the Court to prevent a land assault on Rafah, where more than 1.3 million Palestinians live overcrowded, mostly displaced from other governorates fleeing bombing and systematic annihilation.

He also requested that the ICJ take all effective measures to allow unimpeded access to Gaza for humanitarian workers, researchers and journalists, and to demand that Tel Aviv be held to account for its efforts to comply with the first two orders.
