SENIAT raised more than 51 billion bolivars in the month of August

SENIAT reaffirms its commitment to continue raising resources for the social welfare of the Venezuelan people

The National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) reported that it closed the month of August with a collection of 51 billion 254 million 205 thousand 96 bolivars.

The National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón, specified that the breakdown of income received from the various incomes for the month of August was: Income Tax (ISLR) of 30 billion 999 million 410 thousand 352 bolivars; according to Value Added Tax (VAT) the amount collected is 11 billion 591 million 64 thousand 838 bolivars.

In terms of customs, 5 billion 361 million 588 thousand 883 bolivars were reached, the amount obtained in other Internal Revenues is 3 billion 302 million 141 thousand 23 bolivars, SENIAT reported through its account on the social network Instagram.

He highlighted that so far this year, SENIAT has raised 318,625,055,745 bolivars, while in the same period from January to August 2023, a total of 91,142,306,860 bolivars were obtained.

Other Internal Revenue income includes tax revenues for cigarettes, liquor, inheritances, fines, interest and other items.

It highlights that in this way, SENIAT complies with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, under the guidelines of the National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón, reaffirming its commitment to continue collecting resources for the social welfare of the Venezuelan people.
