SENIAT organizes information day on the ISLR

In order to strengthen tax culture in the country, officials of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT), attached to the Central Region Internal Tax Management, developed a series of informative talks aimed at Natural and Legal Persons on topics for the declaration and payment of Income Tax (ISLR).

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), officials explained to taxpayers the steps to correctly file the ISLR return, corresponding to the fiscal year 2023, through the tax portal www.seniat.gob.ve.

In addition, in the case of natural persons, allowances were reported for expenses either for medical consultation or the purchase of medicines and in the case of Legal Entities, the travel account, as well as other expenses in the accounting entry, must have invoices that comply with the provisions of Administrative Order No. 0071 published in Official Gazette No. 39,795 dated November 8, 2011.

In the same way, public servants indicated to taxpayers the sanctions and fines established in the Organic Tax Code (SCOT), which may be applicable for non-compliance with their formal duties. That is why they were invited to comply with the declaration and payment of the ISLR in a timely manner.
