Prosecutors from the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) carried out a Formal Duties Verification (VDF) operation, in which they visited 43 commercial premises located in the states of Aragua, Carabobo and Cojedes to validate compliance with tax obligations.

The VDF operation was applied to taxpayers dedicated to the sale and distribution of dairy products, as well as the wholesale distribution of food. In this regard, the prosecutors confirmed the correct issuance of invoices, which must be carried out through fiscal machines with transmission devices, as indicated in Administrative Orders No. 00071 and No. 0141.

When carrying out the verification, the officials detected that of the 43 taxpayers visited, only six do not have a fiscal machine, however, none have data transmission devices.

In this regard, prosecutors advised taxpayers on the importance of complying with tax obligations and acquiring equipment to avoid reoffending sanctions.

In the same way, workers in the Maracay and Cagua Internal Tax sectors; as well as in the La Victoria, Bejuma, Puerto Cabello and San Carlos units; provided taxpayers with the information to purchase both the tax machine and the data transmission devices, through distributors authorized by SENIAT, which can be found in the list available on the tax authority's website.
