SENIAT launches X-ray circuit in Puerto Cabello customs office

The National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón, launches the second Non-Intrusive Inspection Circuit (CINI) at the Main Customs Office of Puerto Cabello, a project promoted by President Nicolás Maduro.

“Thanks to the efforts of the Revolution, our Commander in Chief, Nicolás Maduro and the vice-president, Delcy Rodríguez, we have been able to have cutting-edge equipment in Venezuela, which help us to expedite inspections without having to carry out a review of the container unless something strange is detected in it,” said the Superintendent.

After learning about the operation of these equipment, which have cutting-edge and innovative technology, he took a tour of the courtyards with the objective of supervising the correct execution of customs processes.

The head of SENIAT, in accordance with the powers conferred by the Organic Customs Act (LOA), made a random recognition of several containers selected to verify compliance with the obligations.
