The month of October 2026 closed with a tax collection of more than one trillion 119 billion bolivars, equivalent to 1,272.68 million dollars, as reported by the superintendent of the National Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT), Román Maniglia.

In this regard, Maniglia attributed the increase in tax collection to the advances of the SENIAT Modernization, Digitalization and Automation (MODA) plan, promoted by the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, from his Instagram account.

Internal tax collection was 815,958 million bolivars, equivalent to 928 million dollars, while customs collection amounted to 283,898 million bolivars equivalent to 322.88 million dollars. Revenue from the Large Financial Transactions Tax (IGTF) exceeded 19,166 million bolivars, equivalent to 21.8 million dollars.

“SENIAT continues to make progress in building an efficient, agile and transparent State, towards a new tax culture, which provides facilities and support to taxpayers while progressively ordering and formalizing all sectors of the economy,” said Maniglia.

MODA Seniat is a tax management strategy that seeks to transform the methods used by the tax body, in order to streamline collection processes, as well as taxpayer care. This plan is based on the following fundamentals: Modernization, digitalization and automation.
