The superintendent of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT), Román Maniglia, announced during his participation in the Congress of the Venezuelan Chamber of Shopping, Merchants and Related Centers (CAVECECO), that next week there will be the next launch of a new taxpayer web portal and a free mobile application with electronic invoicing, tools designed with the main objective of simplifying the experience of users and make tax procedures much more accessible.
During his speech, he stressed that current technology requires extremely agile processes, compared to the promptness that new generations consume on digital platforms, so the State seeks to build technological solutions that facilitate compliance with tax obligations for both natural and legal taxpayers, the Último Noticias portal reported.
Maniglia explained that the new mobile application will include electronic invoicing for free in an integrated way, offering a flexible alternative for taxpayers to choose how to adapt to current regulations through existing electronic channels.
He also emphasized that this initiative does not seek to increase operating expenses in the commercial sector, but rather to provide greater peace of mind, flexibility and transparency, adapting to the administrative systems of profit or other programs that businesses already use and interconnecting them digitally.
With regard to digital customs and fiscal control, the superintendent stressed that internal interoperability will allow for more efficient and transparent risk management, guaranteeing traceability without the need to increase the presence of supervisory officials on the streets.
He insisted that the coming months of the end of the year will be marked by economic growth, commercial projection and taxpayer peace of mind.
