Security forces rescue four people lost in Warairarepano National Park

This Monday, the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, M/G Carlos Pérez Am, reported that the Bolivarian National Police (CPNB), La Guaira State Police and the National Risk Management System (SNGR) rescued four people who were missing in the Waraira Repano National Park.

“The group of people went up through the community of the Culebrilla sector to the southern slope of Waraira Repano, to Pico Naiguatá, and later arrived at La Arbareña, and were located on the Naiguatá slope,” said Pérez Amthrough the social network X.

People were reported missing on February 11. It is worth noting that forest and urban firefighters from La Guaira also collaborated in the rescue.

“Among those lost, there is a 53-year-old woman, who has trauma to her lower right limb, treated and being transported on a stretcher,” he said.
