Security forces and FANB have full control of Petare

The State security forces, together with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), have total control of the different neighborhoods of Petare, said the national director against criminal gangs of this police force, Chief Commissioner Richard Camacho.
In a video published by the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace through his Instagram account, Camacho highlighted that officials of the Bolivarian National Police Force (CPNB) maintain an articulated deployment in perfect Popular, Military and Police Fusion in the sectors where members of the organized crime group “El Wilexis” carried out their criminal actions.
In this regard, the police chief recalled that sectors of the extremist opposition tried to use the criminal gang of the abused antisocial “El Wilexis”, with the aim of confronting the organs of the public force and thus causing distress in the country.
“As far as we know, thanks to the investigations, the opposition took this criminal gang and financed it with weapons to generate violence in the presidential elections of last July 28 in the territory of our capital region, to take power away from the Commander President,” said the official.
