The sector vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Isabel Iturria, reported that the debris generated by the double earthquake that occurred in Venezuela will be crushed to transform it into added material for construction.
In this regard, in an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he stressed that it is a matter of advancing the comprehensive recovery of the state of La Guaira, for which reason, the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism transferred a high-capacity crushing machine from the state of Nueva Esparta to process debris.
He pointed out that these actions are part of the work carried out by the Bolivarian Government to recover the affected infrastructure in the region.
He also said that, thanks to a joint effort between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the organized Popular Power and two private companies, more than two thousand tons of solid waste have been collected in La Guaira, which allowed the affected roads to be cleared and the priority environmental sanitation of the coastal entity was guaranteed.
