Sector Vice President Cabello received more than 300 Venezuelans repatriated from Mexico

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, received more than 300 Venezuelans repatriated from Mexico through the Plan Back to the Fatherland.

From Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport in La Guaira, Cabello Rondón highlighted that 311 Venezuelans arrived at their homeland. “Women, men, children, entire families arrived. Today the children of the Fatherland are back,” he said.

“With a beautiful gesture, we received them from the Government of Mexico and we thank them for the attention they had with the Venezuelans and for having them there,” he said.

He also emphasized that being in Venezuela is a guarantee of tranquility and peace for families.

He recalled that the Plan Back to the Fatherland has been carried out by the National Government since 2018 and is in force.

He pointed out that to date, through this plan, close to 1 million Venezuelans have arrived in Venezuela. “Today, this new group of Venezuelans is far from violence, from evil, from all persecution, from repression applied in the United States,” he added.

The 311 Venezuelans repatriated from Mexico arrived in Venezuela after talks between the authorities of both nations to guarantee human rights.
