The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, highlighted the election day that took place this Sunday in Mexico.
“The
Mexican people have a new consolidated democracy,” said Arreaza, who
was an international observer in the elections of the Aztec nation.
During an interview with Jorge Gestoso, he highlighted the work of the current
president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who has been able to “touch the
fibers of the deep people of Mexico and rescue sovereignty, the State and
ethics” and this led to the electoral results, according to a note from Telesur.
In addition, he added that these electoral results guarantee the stability of the
region as part of the necessary balance and of the confrontation with
expansionist doctrines of the United States.
