Second CONVIASA flight arrived this Thursday with 198 returnees deported from the United States

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, headed the commission to receive a group of 198 returnees from the United States, after being transferred to Honduras on a flight of the state airline CONVIASA that landed this Thursday at Simon Bolivar International Airport in the state of La Guaira.
“We are receiving a second flight with returnees, today Thursday, the last one comes from Honduras, where a plane from the United States landed, to be transferred to a Venezuelan aircraft, a number of 198 returnees, of whom 12 are female and the rest are male. According to the evaluation made by the police authorities, none have a request for international arrest, although, if there are people with police records,” said Minister Velásquez
In this regard, he added that once they are registered, they will be thoroughly checked by the authorities and those who are in debt to justice will be handed over to the appropriate body for prosecution.
