With regard to the return to school and the strengthening of the School Feeding Program (PAE), the Ministry of Education distributed more than 3,000 freezers to schools across the country.

“The work plan is to strengthen the PAE in its logistical capacity (distribution and storage), increase the attention of students and teachers, and improve the menu for a more balanced diet,” said the minister of the educational portfolio Héctor Rodríguez, in a message released on social networks.

The PASE will serve four million children in the 2024-2025 school year, so this provision was necessary, as a significant improvement in the program's logistical capabilities is required.
