The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated the complaint about the plans of the extreme right to sing fraud and provoke acts of violence on July 28.
“When I alert the People, to the world, I do it because I know the plans of the extreme right, the threats that exist against the People. I don't want that for my country, I want peace and quiet,” he stressed during a meeting with the people of San Cristóbal, Táchira state.
He also stressed that thanks to the decisions and actions taken by his government, it has been possible to prevent our country from being led to a civil war.
“As President, together with the people, I have prevented Venezuela from being led to a civil war. I warn the people. Let no one be frightened, we have defeated two guarimbas, several coups d'etat, they have tried to kill me 100 times, 930 sanctions and here we are standing, alive and well. With peace, quiet and victorious,” he emphasized.
