Looking ahead to the start of the
2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) season, Venezuela's Salvador Pérez is the
active catcher with the most turnovers in the Big Ten.
Pérez, who has 13 seasons in
the MLB, has a total of 246 volacercas, 61 more than the Cuban Yasmani
Grandal, who guards him in second place. While the third place is
occupied by the Dominican Gary Sánchez with 173 hits.
In fourth place is the American JT Realmuto with 154, followed by the Venezuelan Willson Contreras with 137 and the Brazilian Yan Gomes with 131.
