SAIME will activate offices nationwide for walk-in card renewal and passport delivery

The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) reported that, starting this Wednesday, July 1, a group of selected offices will reactivate public service for a temporary schedule between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The offices had been closed since Thursday, June 25, after the earthquakes in Venezuela, said SAIME, on its Instagram account.

The publication states that in this first phase of opening, it will be used exclusively for two types of priority procedures: Renewal of the identity card, which will be processed without the need for an appointment, and for the delivery of passports that have already been processed.
