SAIME registration operation has benefited more than 6,000 people in Tumremo

The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) has issued 3,70 identification cards for the first time for both indigenous boys, girls and adolescents, during the day being held in Tumremo.

The day takes place, specifically in the municipality of Sifontes, Bolívar state, in the Guiana region and has awarded a total of 6,159 identity cards.

In the same way, 3,089 citizens have renewed their identity documents, SAIME press reported.

This day prioritizes care for older adults, people with reduced mobility and pregnant women.

50 public officials from different regional and national institutions are deployed in the activity.
